Dianne should be senator because for one, she was already senator in 1992, and knows what goes on. Second, she has had made many accomplishments, like helping to strengthen the nation's security. Dianne has also secured funding for critical projects and protected California's environmental jewels. Dianna has helped create jobs, help modernize our infrastructure, and she even helped those hurt by the recession. Finally, she helped block President Bush's effort to privatize Social Security, which keeps half of our Senior Citizens to stay out of poverty.

Current Event #4
Proposition #30
I think Prop. 30 would be a useful boost to the students. Prop. 30 can really help boost education levels if more money is funded to the schools. The added protection would also be a positive thing. Parents would be glad that the schools that their child or children go to will be added extra funding for more resources and better learning.
Proposition #34
I think Prop. 34 should be approved because taking a person's life as a punishment is cruel. Killing a person is already extremely wrong. Not only will Prop. 34 be doing the right thing, but Prop. 34 will save money, which nowadays is crucial in our day to day lives. People convicted of First Degree Murder should be punished, but not have their life ended. Life in prison is a more effective (but cruel) punishment, having the person live the rest of their life in prison, which can be agonizing.
Proposition #37
I think Prop. 37 should be approved, because people have the right to know what they're eating. People obviously need to know what is in their food before eating it. What if the person reacts to the GE ingredients in a negative way? Knowing what the GE ingredients are, people can prevent future negative things like an allergy, if they do have one.

Current Event #3
I think people should vote for current president Obama, because first, Obama is already a good president. Why would we risk our chances of leaving Obama for Romney, one who doesn't know what being a president is like, when having Obama is already in good effect? Secondly, Obama planned a really big operation, the assassination of Osama bin Laden, and succeeded! If Obama can plan as something as big as the assassination of the man who has caused much disaster and succeed, Obama can lead us to a successful path. Finally, President Obama kept his promise and pulled all U.S. troops out of Iraq. Obama can keep his promise, which means he is reliable.

Current Event #2
Obama Cons:

http://politiac.com/2012_candidates/
- Obama thinks the U.S. Constitution is a "flawed document"
- Encouraged and and signed the biggest spending bills in U.S. history
- Blames Republicans for every time the Democratic controlled Senate rejects his policies
- Romney increased prices on things such as gasoline, gun licenses, marriage licenses, and driver’s licenses
- The increased prices had an impact on people with lower incomes
- Romney still might be learning about low incomes

Current Event #1
Obama Pros:
Obama is already president, which means he can decide what items of business are to be considered and discussed for the nation.Obama is announcing a more lenient policy for Hispanics that came to the United States illegally as children. No matter what happens, polls show that many Americans still like Obama.
Romney Pros:
Romney is strong when debating. He is an impressive campaigner and a skilled fund raiser. Mitt Romney is known to take unsuccessful companies and turn them into successful companies. Romey was successful as a capitalist.

8th Grade Goals
One academic achievement I have for 8th grade is to keep my report card full of A's or B's. I will try to keep A's and B's by trying my hardest not to procrastinate, and be lazy. One behavior achievement I want to accomplish in 8th grade is to be the nice guy. I will be nice by helping others and being patient. One fun achievement I want to accomplish in 8th grade is to learn how to dance. I can accomplish this by practicing in the Summer and practicing on the weekends!

7th Grade Reflection
7th grade had many good memories. One of which was when Team Perseverance went to San Jose, CA, to the Tech Museum. We went to the Tech Museum to learn more about the Islamic Achievements. I enjoyed this event because we got to travel, be with friends, and be away from the classroom. Another event was going to Golfland. We went there because we deserved to, and we all had fun. Golfland was enjoyable because we got to be with friends, play games, and be away from the classroom.
