Dianne should be senator because for one, she was already senator in 1992, and knows what goes on. Second, she has had made many accomplishments, like helping to strengthen the nation's security. Dianne has also secured funding for critical projects and protected California's environmental jewels. Dianna has helped create jobs, help modernize our infrastructure, and she even helped those hurt by the recession. Finally, she helped block President Bush's effort to privatize Social Security, which keeps half of our Senior Citizens to stay out of poverty.

Current Event #4
Proposition #30
I think Prop. 30 would be a useful boost to the students. Prop. 30 can really help boost education levels if more money is funded to the schools. The added protection would also be a positive thing. Parents would be glad that the schools that their child or children go to will be added extra funding for more resources and better learning.
Proposition #34
I think Prop. 34 should be approved because taking a person's life as a punishment is cruel. Killing a person is already extremely wrong. Not only will Prop. 34 be doing the right thing, but Prop. 34 will save money, which nowadays is crucial in our day to day lives. People convicted of First Degree Murder should be punished, but not have their life ended. Life in prison is a more effective (but cruel) punishment, having the person live the rest of their life in prison, which can be agonizing.
Proposition #37
I think Prop. 37 should be approved, because people have the right to know what they're eating. People obviously need to know what is in their food before eating it. What if the person reacts to the GE ingredients in a negative way? Knowing what the GE ingredients are, people can prevent future negative things like an allergy, if they do have one.
